The necessity of the Apartment Law Act

In 2014, nine families were rendered homeless by a fierce fire.
It involved an apartment complex where all the homes were connected to the electricity grid of one home resulting in a short circuit.
The question this raised among citizens is whether there is any legislation for setting up apartments.
What rules must be met to protect residents Government leaders have publicly mentioned the need for the Apartment Law several times.
At the opening of the Building and Housing Fair in August 2017, a politician stated that the Apartment Law Act is necessary to solve the housing shortage faster.
Two weeks back, our President again emphasized the importance of the Apartment Law 1.
The Land Congress will also feature our own President of The Supreme College of State, Mr. Marinus Bee.
Mr. Bee will highlight the status of legislation for apartments in Suriname, as well as what the role of The National Assembly is in this.
What an honor to have Mr. Bee as a speaker at this Congress.
We are very grateful that he also wants to make his contribution in this way to the sustainable development of good housing and living environments, the efficient use of our land and addressing climate change.

Terzol Real Estate Land Congress Oct. 27, 28 and 29, 2021

From October 27 to 29, 2021, will be held, for the first time in Suriname, a Land Congress will be held with the theme “Apartment Law.
This Congress is a private initiative of Terzol Vastgoed NV and will be organized by Tabto Group NV.
The purpose of this Congress is to raise awareness and the “sense of urgency” of the Apartment Law in order to speed up the adoption of the Law.
Due to the pandemic, the Congress will be broadcast live, to give as many individuals and companies as possible the opportunity to participate and ask questions.
