Er staat enorm veel op de planning voor Suriname in dit nieuwe jaar. Naast het feit dat dit jaar een verkiezingsjaar is waarbij Suriname opnieuw zal trachten, middels het stemrecht, aan de &#8216;juiste&#8217; leiders de macht te verschaffen, hebben wij in het tweede kwadrant van dit jaar ook te maken met de National Risk Assessment (NRA) welke uitgevoerd wordt door de Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF), een zusterorganisatie van de Internationale Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Tijdens deze controle zal o.a. getoetst worden in hoeverre Suriname zich gehouden heeft aan de 40 aanbevelingen om money laundering tegen te gaan. Deze aanbevelingen zijn tijdens onze laatste NRA in het jaar 2002 gegeven door de CFATF. Tijdens de komende NRA zal er o.a. gekeken worden naar de corruptie graad van het land en onderzoek gedaan worden naar de aanwezigheid van Witwaspraktijken.<\/p>\n<p>In preparatie op de komende NRA heeft Suriname 3 januari jl. de algemene beschikking #219, t.a.v. de Deviezenregeling, aangepast. Deze aangepaste beschikking is vanaf 15 januari 2020 van kracht en heeft onmiddellijk consequenties op de Vastgoed sector, met name het\u00a0<i>verbod\u00a0<i>op het verkopen van onroerende goederen in vreemde valuta.\u00a0<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wat betekent dit voor de Vastgoed sector?<\/strong><br \/>\nDeze aanpassing in de deviezenbeschikking zal in geen geval het proces van het verkopen en\/of aankopen van onroerende goederen vergemakkelijken. Toch trachten wij u z.s.m. te informeren over de beste verkoopmogelijkheden van uw onroerend goed.<br \/>\nGezien de Vastgoedsector ook geconfronteerd is met deze nieuwe wetgeving, is er ruimte nodig om aangaande deze ontwikkelingen goede toepasbare strategie\u00ebn te bedenken en deze te presenteren.
